World Community

I would like to explore some principles that a specific church adheres to.  These may be familiar to some of you and they may not to others.  They are great principles for ANYONE to follow.

“The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all; respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part..”

What a principle for any religion to embrace, believe and hopefully one day, achieve.  I shall not attempt to break each segment down, I think that beauty, the strength and the power lies in the structure of all of these words combined.

One day, I believe, I have faith in, I have hope for a world community that lives in peace with liberty and justice for all (without exception) which will include how we treat, acknowledge and connect with one another in that vary world community, including (and not limited to) respect.

It is ALSO my hope and prayer that peoples of different religions, faith beliefs, and journey’s will be able to sit, drink, eat, talk, love, respect, and live with one another in darkness and in light.

We can be the change we seek in this world, and in ourselves.  One day.  One journey.  One person.  One connection at a time.
