Self Belief

“If you think you can or can’t, you’re right!”  Henry Fords are as relevant today as much as they were when first spoken.  You are the author of your own life story.  What have you set your mind up to?  What have you allowed yourself to achieve?

Successful people (in business, life, hobbies, families, etc.) believe that they can achieve whatever they set out to do.  They are also very aware and “in tune” with themselves (mind, body and spirit.)

Your beliefs started developing when you were too young to remember, and of course they are still shaped today buy your environments.  Your belief is the way you think all the time.  It is these beliefs that determine how you respond to life, family, work, friends, self, conflict, and…  Beliefs can be the source of your perceived limits and problems and they can also be the source of happiness, peace and goodness.

How we think of ourselves is something that is what we believe ourselves to be, or not be.  What makes us, us; strengths, weaknesses, and differences.  These all began forming in our younger years from family, neighbors, those whom we were surrounded by, school teachers, classmates, and now, online social media sites too!  They all had/have an impact on you (positive or negative.)

Today, right now, what do you think of yourself?  Who do you believe you are?

Your interactions, experiences and beliefs about yourself make up your… self esteem.  Your self worth.  Your self love.  Sure, your past has written a lot of hf istory and has laid the foundation of where you are at today.  On a scale of 1-10 (ten being the best) what is your self esteem, self love, self worth today?

If it is low it could be because of the foundation on which it was built was not favorable, it could be that you are surrounded by people who have that influence and it could simply be that you need to clean your windshield to revel a brighter view!  If it is in the middle, sounds like there could be some cleaning for you too!  Maybe it is cleaning that windshield too, or cleaning up those whom you are surrounded by.  If it is a higher number, great!  How do you share that with others?  You have the power to increase that number, to change the shape and direction of your life.

We can be the change we seek in this world, and in ourselves.  One day.  One journey.  One person.  One step at a time.
