What kind of coins do we use? Placing blame and being a victim are two sides of the same bad coin. When we keep using that coin to pay for things in our life, it is us unforeseeable that we will start using coins of opportunity, possibility, change… I can be the change I seek in this world… I will take personal responsibility for my own words, thoughts, and actions.
It is easy to blame others, companies, the government, our families and organizations for hurdles or problems in our world/life (ESPECIALLY after watching our government leaders do it with each other on TV last night!) It is also easy to create a nice comfortable, secure, and safe “victim” bed to sleep in.
There are times in life when we are not treated fairly, times are tough (perhaps rough!), and when life is really difficult to get through each day AND it will continue to spiral out of control if you allow it, if you let it, if you do not take 100% personal responsibility for your actions, your words and your thoughts.
If you think you are a failure, you will be. If you say you are failure, you are. If you do nothing to change the perception that you are a failure, then you must be one! You are the author of your life, what are you writing? What are saying? What are you doing? YOU CAN BE THE CHANGE YOU SEEK IN YOURSELF… Love yourself enough to care!
