Omaha Essential Oils

Each week I will share experiences and information about Aromatherapy, Essential Oils and Meditation that I offer at Inclusive Life right here in Omaha at 37th and Leavenworth.

Thank you for taking a moment from your busy schedule to visit the website and for keeping an open mind about what could be life-saving information for you and your family. The problem of toxic chemical exposure in American homes is reaching epidemic proportions. Americans are exposed to an average of 210,000 toxic chemicals every year that require medical treatment. These are exposures that can easily be eliminated with a little education and a resolve to make a difference.

CLASSIC Thieves® HOME COLLECTION
Thieves® Home Collection which enables you to replace your current toothpaste, mouthwash, foaming hand soaps, household cleaners, convenient sprays, pocket-size hand sanitizers and you'll also receive an added bonus of a 15 ml. bottle of the actual Thieves® essential oil blend. This aromatic combination of Kosher-certified therapeutic grade Clove, Rosemary, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark and Eucalyptus radiata essential oils will outperform any commercial product in your kitchen, bathroom, laundry or nursery. Application of Thieves® Oil to the bottoms of the feet daily can reduce the occurrences of cold and flu--even ridding your home of them altogether! Many families have written to share of their own successes:

"This is the fourth winter I have used Thieves® when I start getting sick. As a primary math teacher, I have 45 - 50 students daily and am around a lot of sick kids. Since using Thieves®, I have taken off only 1/2 day sick leave in four years. During the winter, I carry Thieves® Spray and Thieves® Lozenges in my purse to use immediately when a sore throat or coughing starts and I love smelling like pumpkin pie!" - Catherine S., Colorado

Throughout recorded history, going back 6,000 years, therapeutic grade essential oils are legendary as the most powerful natural healing substance. From the 15th Century European Plague when the four Thieves® were protected with oils, to the 21st Century with its mutating viruses and never-before-seen Super Bugs, the combination of therapeutic grade oils in theThieves® Blend has stood the test of time:

WHAT MAKES Thieves® SO POWERFUL?
Thieves® Oil is scientifically documented to be highly anti-infectious, antiviral, antibacterial, and antiseptic. It is a safe and natural way to care for your family's health. During an independent study conducted at Weber State University in 1997, this therapeutic blend of oils was proven to kill 99.96% of all airborne bacteria. The Research showed that Thieves® effectively interrupts the life cycle of bacteria and also interferes with the ability of viruses to replicate. That means families no longer need fear outbreaks of MRSA, e-Coli, or Salmonella if they sanitize their home with Thieves® and choose their food selectively while usingThieves® products to wash their hands before preparation; thoroughly clean their fruits and veggies; and diffuse the oils regularly.

Imagine the power of this unique blend applied to the surfaces of your home for a germ-free environment; diffused into the air for greater oxygenation and optimal freshness; and as part of your oral hygiene regimen for healthy teeth and gums. Imagine the assurance of keeping your hands free from airborne viruses in the marketplace or your children at school. The Thieves® hand sanitizer is without equal--and safe enough for little ones because there is no alcohol. Remember--it's more than just "greening the environment" -- It's a proactive choice to protect your family from tens of thousands of deadly exposures every day. I'm here to help you start the journey.

2013 Week 21

I am sharing one photo each week and one word that represents what I am grateful for.

GRATEFUL WORD:      FAMILY
Family.  My Brother (he is my half brother, but there has never been anything about half between us, it is all or nothing!) got married to his long time girlfriend Tea in Philadelphia.  I very little family left that is alive.  Shawn I text weekly and talk at least once a month.  He is a reminder of my youth, growing up, and what is important... those connections to people who help you be a better person.  Shawn and Tea visited us a couple years back and I fixed dinner for them and their friends.  It was a great feast, and a great feast it was (very Gertrude Stein of me...)  and then we all sat around and talked, drank, and shared stories about life.  It was a good time for sure.

Omaha Essential Oils

Each Wednesday I will share experiences and information about Aromatherapy, Essential Oils and Meditation that I offer at Inclusive Life right here in Omaha at 37th and Leavenworth.

An easy check of many sites, books and references each reveals a similar answer:  Essential oils are concentrated hydrophobic liquids containing volatile aroma compounds from plants.  An oil is "essential" in the sense that it carries a distinctive scent, or essence, of the plant (much like blood is to humans.)

Essential oils have been used medicinally in history for thousands of years, and now includes many countries importing and exporting oils and herbs.  There are different grades of oils, for a variety of uses.

Grade A oils are pure therapeutic quality and are usually made from organically grown plants distilled at the proper temperatures using steam distillation.

Grade B oils are food grade; they may contain synthetics, pesticides, fertilizers, extenders, or carrier oils.

Grade C oils are perfume grade and may contain the same type of adulterating chemicals as food grade oils. They usually contain solvents which are used to gain a higher yield of oil per harvest. Solvents are normally cancerous.

Floral Water is a byproduct of the distillation process, a very high quality if it comes from a Grade A distillation process. Accordingly it is of low quality if it comes from poor quality raw materials and or poor distillation processes. It is usually found in skin and hair products.

It is important to understand that not oils are equal.  Young Living's oils are therapeutic and medicinal. They are derived directly from the plant - not in a laboratory - and they are never extended or adulterated with chemicals. It is true; you get what you pay for.  It is not possible to purchase less expensive essential oils and get the same therapeutic quality and results.

This week, a person at home got into poison ivy.  What would you normally do?  (Go to doctor, use calamine lotion, Benadryl…)  Within 3 applications of Young Livings Lavender Essential Oil in two days, the reaction was gone; no itching or scar.

2013 Week 20

I am sharing one photo each week and one word that represents what I am grateful for.

GRATEFUL WORD
PATIENCE.  For those that know me really well, they know that the first part of my life I had none.  No patience or tolerance for what we inconvenient to me.  I prayed for patients once and God revealed my mothers face.  I thought it was because I should be trying to recall something she said or did... it was about caring for her until her final breath.  I like a comfort zone just like anyone else and I know that we are the most powerful and grow the most when we are OUTSIDE of our comfort zone.

2013 Week 19

I am sharing one photo each week and one word that represents what I am grateful for.

GRATEFUL WORD: CONNECTIONS
Many years ago I met Earl.  Over the course of many visits to Salt Lake City and other cities we traveled to at the same time, we became friends.  We have shared in the highs and the lows in each of our lives.  We have stood with each other in good times and bad, and now sickness and in health.  He had surgery on his shoulder and I went to Chicago to spend time with him and help out.  I hope he enjoyed the time together as much as I did.  We also joined Brad and Waylon for dinner at Hamburger Mary's in Chicago.  What a time!  I love the connections I have made, have been made with/for me, and that I make.  Good times.  Good people.

2013 Week 18

I am sharing one photo each week and one word that represents what I am grateful for.

GRATEFUL WORD:  GROWTH
I am reminded as we learn, as we meet new people, as we are open to consider other points of view we grow.  It is only in growing do we live.  It is only in life that we grow.

2013 Week 17

I am sharing one photo each week and one word that represents what I am grateful for.

GRATEFUL WORD: Commitment
I have been working out 2 days each week for almost two months and 3 days a week for the last month.  I am losing inches, I am feeling better, I have more energy and I get more done the days I work out.

I am thankful for having a husband who supports me, helps me hold myself accountable and watches out for me.  A full support system in one person!  (Cheer leader, mom, coach, friend, and partner.)
