Movies and

I love movies.  I love family.  I love friends.  I love eating.  I love saving money.  I love having friends and family over to watch a movie and share a meal.  I can serve 10 people a meal AND a movie for the cost that we would spend going out for two people to eat at a full service restaurant.

Netflix is a great option for many, we use the RedBox system and love it.  Movies for $1.  Time released their top ten movies for 2011.

10) Fast Five (didn’t see it.)  9) Rango (loved it!)  8) Rise of the Planet of the Apes (didn’t see it) 7) Cave of Forgotten Dreams (didn’t see it)  6)Super 8 (didn’t see it)  5)War Horse (on list to see)  4) The Tree of Life (didn’t see it)  3) Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame (didn’t see it)  2) Hugo (didn’t see)  1) The Artist (didn’t see)

Taking time is an easy bunch of words to throw together.  MAKING TIME in our busy days, weeks and lives is what makes the difference between connecting with others and sharing life AND… not.

Can’t afford movies, even the $1 ones?  No worries, I can help with that.  Your public library is a great source for two things… A) A place to go check out books for FREE!!! And B) MOVIES!  Yes they check them out too!

Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln are VERY blessed cities for having great libraries.  They want you to use them!  Many offer great outreach programs for individuals, couples and families.

We can be the change we seek in this world. and in ourselves.  One day.  One journey.  One person.  One bit of time with those whom you love at a time.
