Is Religion In America in Decline?

As in Interfaith Chaplain, I can say that in the Mid-West we know that up to 40% of the population attend regular worship services. Many that I see, help and provide services for are "running" from the dogma, politics and in some cases "hate" that places of worship preach and teach. A persons relationship with the sacred can be very personal, private, sacred in and of itself.

I give thought, hold out hope, have faith and pray that one day all religions will be interfaithed, in that they will respect, accept and extend helping hands to one another. No more blood shed, no more war, no more harsh words for one another in the name of religion.
